Greetings to our vibrant community of art aficionados and seekers of the profound! We are absolutely delighted to spotlight another brilliant artist from our upcoming Ritual Art Exhibition – meet the phenomenal @stelae.marks, or as many know her, Francesca Contaldo.
Hailing from the picturesque landscapes of Italy, Francesca’s love for handpoke tattooing is rooted deeply in her exploration of body markings, an art form that has been an intrinsic part of the world’s tribal and indigenous cultures. Particularly captivating is her dive into the indigenous practices of ancient Puglia, Italy – an exploration that revives forgotten traditions and stitches them seamlessly into the modern-day fabric of body art.
In Francesca’s own words, “I see my art as a bridge between the past and the present. My endeavor is to be a conduit, ensuring that the rich traditions of our ancestors are not just remembered, but are carried forward, resonating with and inspiring future generations.”
